Payment Policies

Unexpected Necessities uses PayPal as a payment gateway for all orders. PayPal offers a secure method of payment collection that not only protects your information but also allows you to pay via credit card even if you don’t have or don’t want to use a PayPal account. Of course, you are also welcome to use your PayPal balance if you wish

When checking out through PayPal, to use your credit card as a guest user instead of logging in as a PayPal account holder, simply click the section entitled “Don’t have a PayPal account?”and continue with your payment information

Shipping Policies


Orders are shipped within two business days (Monday – Saturday), when in stock. If the item is made to order or a custom request, it will be shipped within two business days of completion. We will communicate with you via email regarding completion time estimates. If you need the item for a special occasion and have time constraints, please let us know!

All items are packed securely and shipped FREE via USPS Priority Mail and usually arrive in one to three days.

Refunds and Exchanges

If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please don’t hesitate to contact us about an exchange or a refund.

If your item was damaged in transit, please let us know via email within 24 hours of receiving it so we can arrange a swap or return.

For change of heart returns, contact us within seven calendar days of receipt of the item, send it back to us in the undamaged, original package (meaning the gift box or sleeve) and we’ll be happy to arrange a refund or exchange for you. The buyer pays return shipping and shipping of exchange item.

Your Privacy & Information

The quick summary: We will never sell, rent, or give away your personal information to any third parties. We do collect anonymous information via Google Analytics, but we never sell your information or otherwise contact you without your consent. This is just for analysis to help us serve you better. All orders, since they are processed via PayPal, are securely hosted on PayPal’s servers, and any credit card information you provide is kept safely there.
